La Bouquet is a Los Angeles based band who just released their EP Heavy Sunshine from Washington Square Music, an imprint of Razor & Tie this past fall year.

Who are you and what do you do?
My name is Bryan Sammis & I am 1/2 of the band La Bouquet based out of Los Angeles, CA.
How long have you been making music?
I’ve been playing music since I was about 9 (drums) & have been in bands since I was around 14. Guitar & singing came a bit later for me, though.
What has the recording process been like for the new EP?
The new ep “Heavy Sunshine” was actually made at the same time of the album. It was an emotional period, but a cathartic one. We really left it all out there.
Favorite songs on the record?
It’s like picking a favorite child! But, ‘Loveless’ will always have a special place in my heart for what that song did for me mentally & emotionally.
What's the best place you've performed thus far?
We love hometown shows but we’ve had some great shows in the past in Austin, Chicago, New York, Vancouver... to name a few!

Frank Ocean or Justin Vernon.
If you could perform on any stage where would it be?
The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles has always been one of my favorite venues. Would love to play a set there someday!
