Here at the Arroyo Music Festival in sunny Pasadena on June 24th, 2017 Canadian Indie Rock band Broken Social Scene takes to the stage to start their grand tour for the year.
July 7th their new album Hug the Thunder is going to come out, which has been long awaited. It's been seven years since any new music and it appears they are ready and full of energy to hit the road again together. Their eclectic sound vibed with the crowd especially when they sang their new song about protesting. It seems the resistance is strong in these parts.
This time round the band brought out their horns, trumpets, guitars, maracas and of course voices.
