Who are you and what do you do?
I’m Soham De and I’m a 21 year-old singer-songwriter.

What do you love about creating music?
I love the concept of just having something meaningful to you that you made, it’s really precious to me.
Who are some of your biggest musical influences?
I love an artist with a distinct, human voice and quality in their music. Currently Hozier’s really someone I’ve been listening to but I just tend to listen to artists who hit me right through the chest you know?
Any fun road stories to share?
Haha! There have been a few but I think they’re a bit personal, most of my journeys just involve reading or sleeping or listening to a podcast - a real rockstar life!
Where has been your favorite place to perform?
I love performing wherever I am if that makes sense? Just a room where I get to connect to people makes it the best place to be.
How long did it take you to finish recording the EP?
Two days.

If you were stranded on an abandoned island what five items would you want with you?
Hmmmm….maybe like a guitar, spare strings, A really good book, a record player with maybe a Fleetwood Mac Record and a deck of cards.
If you could travel back in time where would you go?
I’m really not sure, I think a lot of time periods would be bad because, like I wear glasses and eye-tests would be quite bad. Also I couldn’t go too far back on account of I get ill easily and love some good medicine so probably anything post penicillin or maybe the Wild West actually.
