Ballooning is very much a niche culture and at first glance, this film may only appeal to balloon enthusiasts,” said Potter, “However, my father is far more than just a pilot and he’s never shied away from the road less traveled. Beyond Balloon Man will offer audiences and experts, a space to discuss the many topics the film touches on - from life after being a professional athlete, to the important father and daughter dynamic - after all, this film is about so much more than just ballooning. -Chantal Potter

From a personal level, I have always been fascinated by flight. I like Chantal from an early age was exposed to it. She just did it in the air, I did it from the ground but with model airplanes, my grandfather would make from the hobby store. He was never that good to be a professional but in his twilight years of life, he found himself a hobby that kept his brilliant engineer mind going.

It’s a pleasure for me to share with you an interview with Chantal Potter.
